Within the framework of the first call for research group proposals by the Munich Aerospace, the new research team "SparsEO: Exploiting the Sparsity in Remote Sensing for Earth Observation " has been granted.

Cooperation partners are Remote Sensing Technology Institute, German Aerospace Center (DLR-IMF),  Remote Sensing Technology Department, TUM (TUM-LMF) and Chair in Applied Numerical Analysis, TUM (TUM-LANA), with the support from Chair of Numeric Mathematics (TUM-LNM) and  Department of Computer Science 10, University of Erlangen.
